PRODUCT & CONDITION:

Poster stored flat and rolled to ship some minimal damage to the poster or edges considering its age, colours remain bright and vibrant. Your chance to get this rare original poster, for the films US cinema release in 1951. Please take note of the size of this item before buying. 

Industrial designer Howard Osborne (Clifton Webb) wants his daughter Jacqueline (Anne Francis), shortened to Jake by her efficient-minded father, to follow in his footsteps and study abroad. But, following her graduation dance, she finds herself in the arms of and in love with her psychology professor, Matt Reagan (William Lundigan), and they decide to elope, telling only her godfather. He, when the Osbornes discovering Jake missing, tells them of her plans. They descend furiously on the Reagans, only to find Matt's father, (Tom (Charles Bickford), equally upset at the news. The two families, with a great dislike for each other, start off for a marriage mill across the state line, and join forces when the Reagan car breaks down. Meanwhile, Jake and Matt quarrel and decide they have made a mistake and start for home. 

GRADE: FAIR:

Insert rolled in fair condition, poster formerly folded but now stored flat and shipped rolled. There may be small scuffs to edges, scuffing more damage than would be expected in specific areas, chipping to edges of the poster not affecting the image of the poster, some tearing to the poster mainly at the corners or folds, some staining visible on the front of poster, see images. But overall the poster is in good condition for age. Please carefully inspect images before purchasing whilst remembering all posters are original and therefore used.
