Poster stored flat and rolled to ship, some minimal damage to the poster or edges considering its age, colours remain bright and vibrant. Your chance to get this rare original poster, for the films UK cinema release in 2015.

Le nozze di Figaro was Mozart's first collaboration with Lorenzo da Ponte, who also wrote the librettos for Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte. The opera is based on Pierre Caron de Beaumarchais' controversial play Le Mariage de Figaro. This play was banned in Vienna due to its potentially seditious content, and Da Ponte had to excise much of its political content in order to get the opera accepted for performance. Figaro was a success in Vienna, and even more so in Prague, where Mozart reported 'nothing but Figaro!' was heard. It has remained one of the composer's best-loved works.

GRADE FAIR+:

Poster rolled in fair+ condition. There may be small scuffs to edges, scuffing more damage than would be expected in specific areas, chipping to edges of poster not affecting the image of the poster, marks consistent with long term rolled storage, see images. But overall the poster is in good condition for age. Please carefully inspect images before purchasing.
