PRODUCT & CONDITION:

Crease lines from being folded and minimal damage to the poster or edges considering its age colours remain bright and vibrant. Your chance to get this rare original poster, for the film’s US cinema release in 1944. Please take note of the size of this item before buying.

The American Beauty Association is about to hold its annual trade show in New York City and songwriter "Tiny" Lewis (Billy Gilbert) has just sold a song to Ina Ray Hutton ('Ina Ray Hutton'), the leader of an all-girl band headlining the show. Lewis shares an apartment with Bradley Miller ('Ross Hunter') and Michele (Fritz Feld), an artist, and Miller has just invented a non-staining lipstick called "Rosebud." Preparing to get a booth at the show, Miller is told by J. Webster Hackett (Alan Mowbray), a very devious "Cosmetics King,", intent on selling a big lipstick order to buyer Edgar Pomeroy (Thurston Hall), that it will cost him a $1000 to join the association and get a booth, which is about $999 more than Miller and his roomies have between them. But Miller's beauty-parlor girl friend, Janet Wilson ('Ann Savage'), meets factory-owner P. G. Grimble (Hugh Herbert), and money is soon no issue.

GRADE: POOR:

Poster folded in poor condition. There may be small scuffs to edges and fold, holes, small holes at the corner of the folds, tape has been used and is visible at the edges of the poster, pinholes at the corner of the poster, chipping to edges of the poster not affecting the image of the poster, larger holes at the corner of folders 2-4 cm, some tearing to the poster mainly at the corners or folds scuffing more damage than would be expected in specific areas, please inspect photos before buying. Good, but overall the poster is in good condition for age. Please carefully inspect images before purchasing whilst remembering all posters are original and therefore used.

ORIGINALITY: This is an original genuine US cinema release one sheet (27" x 41" (or 27" x 40" if printed after 1980's)) poster from 1944
